Vermelhinho

Carlos Manuel Oliveiros da Silva called Vermelinho ( born March 9, 1959 in São João da Madeira ) is a former Portuguese football player and football coach.

Career

Vermelinho played almost his entire career at FC Porto. He started in 1979 at Porto. Until 1986 he won two Portuguese championships, one Portuguese Cup victory and four Portuguese Supercup. He played in the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1984, where Porto failed to Juventus.

Internationally, he was called up twice for Portugal. He was called up for the European Football Championship in 1984 in France, but was not used.
