Verneuil-sur-Seine

Verneuil -sur -Seine is a French town with 15,466 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Yvelines department in the Île- de -France region. It is part of the Association of Municipalities Communauté de communes des deux rives de la Seine.

Geography

Verneuil -sur -Seine is located about 15 kilometers northwest of Saint- Germain -en- Laye on the left bank of the Seine.

Twinning

Verneuil -sur -Seine has three sister cities: since June 21, 1979 Rainsford in England, since the September 27, 1986 Weiterstadt in Germany and since 1 November 1998, Aguilar de la Frontera in Spain.

Education

There are six kindergartens in Verneuil -sur -Seine, three primary schools and secondary school Collège Jean Zay. The private Catholic School Centre Notre -Dame- les- Oiseaux de Verneuil includes kindergarten, primary school, secondary school and high school.
