Veronika Windisch

Veronika Windisch ( born April 9, 1982 in Graz, Styria ) is the most successful Austrian Shorttrackerin.

Career

Brought by her brother Philipp early to the sport, Windisch launched in January 1999 for the first time at a major international event, the Junior World Championships in Montreal. Here she managed more than 1500 meters of the semi-finals where they nearly eliminated but considered third parties. As the youngest participant of the starter at the European Championships of the year, she reached the quarter-finals over 1000 meters. After she had gone to early 2000 nor in other international races such as the Junior World Championships at the start, it was first used in February 2000 in the short track speed skating World Cup. Best result was first the semi-final over 1500 meters at the European Championships in 2004.
