Vesania

Vesania (Latin for madness ') is a Polish metal band. It was in 1997 by Tomasz "Orion" Wroblewski ( also Behemoth, Neolithic, Black River), Dariusz " Daray " Brzozowski ( also Dimmu Borgir, Neolithic, Black River, Masachist, Ex - pyorrhoea, Sunwheel, ex- Vader ) and Filip " Halucha " Henry ( ex- Rootwater, UnSun, Masachist, ex- Decapitated ) was founded. Later members were Filip " Annahvahr " Żołyński and " Hatrah ", of which the latter left the band in 1999 and were replaced by Krzysztof " Sigmar " OLOs.

History

Their first album Moonastray, a split release with Black Altar, was published exclusively in Poland in 2002 by Odium Records. Published in 2003, the band and Empire Records Firefrost Arcanum, their first studio album. In the course of Annahvahr left the band. The second studio album God the Lux was released in April 2005, after Marcin " Valeo " Walenczykowski who played along with Henry at Rootwater, joined the band as lead guitarist. Their third album Distractive Killusions was published by Napalm Records in 2007.

Style

The band plays symphonic black metal, which is characteristic of the band, the use of blast beats and a keyboard, which gives the music a symphonic character. There are consulted bonds from the Death Metal and other styles. The band is compared with Dimmu Borgir. The band describes on their website their music as Symphonic Black Metal.
