Veselin Minev

Veselin Milchev Minew ( born October 14, 1980 in Pazardzhik ) is a Bulgarian football player who plays for Botev Plovdiv. His position is defense.

Career

Veselin Minew began his career at FC Hebar Pazardzhik, where he played in the first team from 1999 to 2001. In 2001, he then left the club and moved to Belasiza Petrich. 2004 moved to Botev Plovdiv Minew and since 2006 he plays at Levski Sofia. During his time at Levski one was twice champion (2007, 2009), one Cup Winners' Cup (2007 ) and twice Supercup champion (2007, 2009).

For Bulgaria Minew games so far four times. His debut for the national team, he was 10 October 2009 against Cyprus. Minew played through. The game was lost in Larnaca 1:4.

Minev plays since the 2011/12 season in Turkey for Medical Park Antalyaspor. In his first season where he quickly captured a regular place and completed a total of 25 league games. The second season he was mostly on the substitutes' bench. So with three games was 2012/13 dissolved his contract before the winter break of the season after mutual agreement.
