Vestel

Vestel A.Ş. is a Turkish group with a focus in the production of electronic equipment. It belongs to the Zorlu Group. Vestel was established in 1975 in Manisa. Current brands of Vestel, for example, the German brands Telefunken Graetz, Techwood, Finlux, Luxor and Vestfrost.

In 1996, Vestel together with the German SEG ( Schmid Electronics GmbH ) the VESEG GmbH in Munich as a common European sales. End of 2007, this partnership has been separated since 2008 and is VESEG a 100% subsidiary of Vestel Group. The company name was changed to Vestel Germany GmbH.

Vestel became known, inter alia, through the sponsorship of the former Turkish football club Manisaspor, who played from 2005 to 2008 under the name Vestel Manisaspor in the Süper Lig. After the withdrawal Vestel as the main sponsor of the club has been called since 2008, only Manisaspor.

2008, the Danish manufacturer of household appliances Vestfrost was purchased.
