The high street Považska Bystrica (Slovak Estakada Považska Bystrica, structurally Most 206 ) is a prestressed concrete highway bridge over the D1 motorway about 170 kilometers with her, which leads directly over the city Považska Bystrica. It is the central building of the section Sverepec - Vrtižer, which was opened after several delays, on 31 May 2010, and thus relieved the old state road through town.

The bridge is a combination of cable-stayed bridges and beams, the so-called Extradosed bridge. It is 968 meters long and consists of 10 spans, of which six in the central cable-stayed bridge is 122 meters long and crosses the urban area of ​​Považska Bystrica and the Vah river at the northern end. There the connection point " Považska Bystrica -centrum " was built to connect the city to the highway. The superstructure carries two lanes plus a hard shoulder in each direction.

The planning of the flyover began in 2001 when several tunnels variants were rejected by the city because of high construction costs. This decision met with fierce resistance but to the citizens, so that the start of construction was delayed several times. The lawsuits, which even landed at the Supreme Court, but were rejected. Construction began in August 2008 and the bridge was built by the balanced cantilever. First, the seven pillars was built, then then the superstructure which was completed in January 2010.

The design is complemented by the green and white colors as well as night lighting. The building was awarded together with the construction project in Bratislava Eurovea the award " Building of the Year 2010" ( Slow Stavba roka 2010).
