Victor Colani

Victor Colani ( born October 30, 1895 in Zittau, † November 25, 1957 in The Hague, Netherlands ) was a German actor.

Life and work

The son of theater and silent film actor Ludwig Colani was already encountered as a child about his father to film. His first stage solid commitment is demonstrated in 1916 in Potsdam. Following a commitment in Kassel Victor Colani returned early 20s to Berlin, where he also played theater. Successes came in the Weimar Republic, particularly in operetta performances at the Theatre of the West, the Metropolitan Theater and the Grand Theatre. Since the early 30s, he remained mostly unemployed, after 1933 had Colani for racial reasons to emigrate. During the Second World War he appeared in revues in the Netherlands.
