Victor Gollancz Ltd.

Victor Gollancz Ltd.. was a major British publishing house, founded in 1927 by Victor Gollancz and both high literature and popular fiction and science fiction moved. Well-known authors such as George Orwell, Daphne du Maurier, Kingsley Amis and Anthony Price published their first works by Gollancz.

The publishing house was sold to Cassell 1989 Houghton Mifflin and 1992. 1998 acquired the Orion Publishing Group the publisher and since published under the brand Gollancz Science Fiction contemporary and classic works of science fiction literature.
