VÃctor MartÃnez (bodybuilder)
Víctor Martínez (born 29 July 1973 in Duarte (Province), Dominican Republic), also known as " DD - Dominican Dominator ", is a Dominican professional bodybuilder in the International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness. He is the second Dominican who became the pro card in bodybuilding.
Life and career
In his professional career succeeded Martinez to come twice in the top 3 placement of the Mr. Olympia competition. The Arnold Classic he won twice. He lives and trains in New York.
End of 2011, Martinez was arrested after his return from the Arnold Classic in Madrid, which he won at the airport in the U.S. and sat seven months in custody. During this time he is said to have 70lbs (32 kg) lost weight. After his release, it was stated that a suspended sentence should have done in 2004 to a disagreement with the extension of his green card. On 27 April 2012, he was released from prison, his previously scheduled deportation was canceled. Martinez had previously in 2007, problems with the law, he was then a suspect in a case of anabolic steroids trade.
