Victoria Hamilton
Victoria Hamilton ( born April 5, 1971 in London) is a British actress.
Life
Hamilton grew up in Surrey, she attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art She starred in the television series Cone Zone from the year 1995. In the miniseries Pride and Prejudice (1995 ) she appeared in the role of Mrs. Forster. In the historical costume drama Victoria & Albert ( 2001) she played the lead role of Queen Victoria. In the comedy Before You Go ( 2002) she played a bigger role alongside John Hannah, Joanne Whalley and Tom Wilkinson.
For her role in the play The Master Builder Hamilton was awarded in 1995 the London Critics Circle Theatre Award. The same price they received again in 2000 for the role in the play As You Like. For his role in the play A Day in the Death of Joe Egg, she was nominated in 2002 for a Laurence Olivier Theatre Award and in 2003 for a Tony Award. For his role in the play As You Like It, she received the 2004 Barclays Theatre Award and the Critics' Circle Award.
