Videoton is a Hungarian private company, a contract manufacturer ( contract manufacturer ), the largest independent Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS ) providers from the CEE region. Due to the current MMI ranking it is in the top 30 globally and in the top 5 in the EU.

History

Today

Videoton is a regional contract manufacturing company ( contract manufacturer ) with integrated production structure, the fifth most important European EMS provider and the 28th largest in the world.

She is a multi-commodity sub-contractor of parts, assemblies, modules, complete products and devices, based on their core activities such as electronics, plastic injection molding, stamping, machining, tooling, surface treatment and assembly. The group includes 19 specialized medium-sized subsidiaries which mainly serve customers from the automotive industry, household appliances and industrial applications.

The services of the vertically integrated manufacturing of Videoton group ranging from parts manufacturing to final assembly and testing prior to transport or distribution of the finished products.

3 May 2011 Videoton has announced the acquisition of the direct controlling interest of the resident in Győr STS Technology Kft. The former subsidiary of STS Group Zrt. specializes in contract manufacturing of machines in high complexity.

On July 22, 2011 Videoton has announced the acquisition of 94 % shares of Ventifilt Zrt. Ventifilt specializes in industrial air technology and was involved in the design, manufacture and on-site installation of equipment, reduce the pollution.

In January 2013, the company has officially announced a steady growth in the last 3 years and record sales both in 2011 and 2012.
