Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences ( in Latvian: Vidzeme augstskola ) is a public university based in the Latvian city of Valmiera. The university is named after the Vidzeme Vidzeme region.

Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1996 and since 2001 has been officially recognized university. Between 1996 and 2004, Artis Pabriks was rector of the newly founded university. Present Rector of the university is Vija Daukste (as of 2010).
