Vigdís Grímsdóttir

Vigdís Grimsdottir ( born August 15, 1953 in Reykjavík ) is an Icelandic writer.

After training as a teacher, she studied at the University of Iceland, first to 1978 Icelandic and library sciences. In 1982, she completed a degree in education from 1984 to 1985, she studied Icelandic literature. Until 1990, she worked as a primary school and Gymanasiallehrererin in Reykjavík and Hafnarfjörður; Since then she has devoted herself almost exclusively of announces activities as a writer.
