Viktor Knoch

Viktor Knoch ( born December 12, 1989 in Pécs ) is a Hungarian Shorttracker.

First time in a major international event started Knoch fifteen years old at the Junior World Championship 2005 in Belgrade, where he however it past in any race over the quarter-finals. Nevertheless, he was still employed in September 2005 for the first time in the short track speed skating World Cup as a B- Junior. After several times, especially over the 1500 meters, where he reached the semifinals three times, get him there good rankings, he achieved the end of the season ranked 18th in the overall World Cup and even the twelfth in the 1500 -meter World Cup. As he repeatedly import decent results in January 2006 at the Junior World Championships and the European Championship, the Hungarian Association nominated him as one of two Short Trackers alongside Peter Darázs to the Olympic Winter Games in Turin. Here he succeeded in the 1500 -meter race of the fifth rank, after he had qualified second in the semifinals for the final. The 2006/07 season ended for bone with another top -10 results in the World Cup this time but also over 1000 meters with two very good fifth places. At the Junior World Championships in Mladá Boleslav he was even fifth overall, about 1500 meters he reached the third place. Similar successfully cut from the Hungarian at the European Championships in 2007, where he fifth overall and second time on the 1500 -meter distance was again. He also won the silver medal in the relay, his first at international events. Without any start at major events was the 2007/08 season for Knoch, also in the World Cup only get weaker results.
