Viktor Zsitva

Viktor Zsitva (born 14 July 1939 Budapest, Hungary) is a Hungarian ice hockey player, who took part with the Hungarian national team at the Olympic Games 1964 in Innsbruck.

Viktor Zsitva played from 1952 to 1972 at various Hungarian clubs and won between 1965 and 1970 five times in a row the Hungarian championship with Újpesti TE. After his playing career he moved to the referee specialist.

Viktor Zsitva participated in eight World Championships as a player. He was a member of the respective national team at the World Ice Hockey Championships in 1959, 1963, 1964, 1966, 1967, 1969, 1970 and 1971. Overall, he scored 55 points scorer at the World Championships.

In 2011 he was inducted into the newly formed Hockey Hall of Fame in Hungary.
