Vilém Lugr

Vilém Lugr ( born June 28, 1911 in Poděbrady, † 1981 in Ostrava ) was Czech football player and coach. Lugr worked as a trainer, especially in Poland and Sweden.

Playing career

Lugr first played for the SK Olomouc and the SK Židenice. 1934, the defender rose with the SK Prostějov on in the first Czechoslovak league. During the season 1937/38, Lugr moved within the league for SK Slezká Ostrava, where he was also coach for 20 days in January 1938. In the summer of 1939, the defender went back to Prostějov.

Lugr denied in the first Czechoslovak league and the championship of the Reich Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia a total of 99 games, a goal he did not shoot it.

Coaching career

In the 1954 season Lugr Křídla vlasti Olomouc trained in the 1st Czechoslovak league. In 1957 the Czech to Poland, from August 1957 to November 1958, he coached Lech Poznań. In the 1959 season he was the coach at Slask Wrocław, January to June 1960, he coached Gornik Zabrze.

In July 1960 Gornik went to Sweden, Lugr did not return with the team. In the years 1961 and 1962, he trained in the Swedish second division team of Jönköping Södra IF. In 1963 he took over IFK Norrköping in Allsvenskan and has been with the team the Swedish championship. 1967 trained Lugr Nyköpings BIS.

After his career Lugr returned to Czechoslovakia. He died in the fall of 1981 in Ostrava.
