Vilho Ylönen

Vilho Ilmari Ylönen ( born May 31, 1918 in Hankasalmi, † March 8, 2000 in Konnevesi ) was a Finnish skier and sport shooter.

At the Olympic Winter Games 1948, he took part in the Finnish team at the demonstration competition military patrol, which won the silver medal in this discipline at the rank Kersantti.

At the Summer Olympics in Helsinki in 1952, he finished second in the discipline of small-bore three position in Melbourne in 1956 and third in the Disziliplin Free Rifle Three Positions. In 1958 he was elected to the Finnish Sportsman of the Year of the year. In the Summer Olympics 1960, he scored in the discipline Free Rifle Three Positions in fourth place and was lying in the category of small caliber Seventeenth. Ylönen stepped back in to the Summer Olympics in Tokyo in 1964, where he lying was ranked 43 in the small-bore three position number 15 and in the small caliber.
