VilmoÈ™ Szabo

Vilmos Szabo ( born December 30, 1964 in Braşov ) is a Romanian saber fencer.

Vilmos Szabo fought from 1977 to 1997 for Romania. In 1993 he moved with his wife Reka Szabo Lazar to Germany and has since worked as a trainer at TSV Bayer Dormagen and in 2008 was national coach saber fencing masters. His son Matyas Szabo contests also.

Achievements

At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles Vilmos Szabo Bronze erfocht with the Romanian team. In Barcelona in 1992, he finished with the team to fourth place in the individual 26th place. Szabo won in 1994 at the European Championships in Krakow bronze in singles at the World Championships in Athens bronze with the team. 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta occupied Szabo with the team to seventh place and in a single 16
