Vilnius Old Town

The Old Town of Vilnius ( Lithuanian Vilniaus Senamiestis, polish Stare Miasto) is the oldest part of the Lithuanian capital Vilnius. It lies on the left bank of the Neris and belongs to the administrative community SENAMIESČIO seniūnija. The Old Town is 4.4 km ². There are 70 streets and cross streets and buildings in 1487. Since 1994, the Vilnius Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
