Vilson Džoni

Vilson Džoni (* September 24, 1950 in Split, SFR Yugoslavia, now Croatia ) is a former Yugoslav football player.

The full-back was part of the so-called " golden generation " of the 1970s the club Hajduk Split.

Career

Džoni was first used in the first Yugoslav league in the season 1968/69 and was in the following years with Hajduk Split three times Yugoslav champion and five- time Cup winner. After he moved to Dinamo Zagreb in 1978, where he obtained as a defender in a season 11 goals, signed him in 1979, FC Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga he played 55 games and scored six goals before 1982 in the second division to SG Wattenscheid 09 changed, where he ended his active career in 1986.

For the Yugoslav national team, he graduated from 1974-1978 four games.

After the career

Since end of his career as a scout Džoni is active: News for Hajduk after he was employed in this capacity in the meantime some time at Dinamo Zagreb.
