Vincenzo Campi

Vincenzo Campi (* 1530, 1535 or 1536 in Cremona, † October 3, 1591 ) was an Italian painter, architect, engraver, draftsman and cosmography.

Vincenzo Campi was a pupil of his brother Giulio and son of Galeazzo Campi. He was a tireless companion of his brothers, whom he almost equivalent in color, but in its search in the drawing. At Cremona seen from his hand four representations of the Descent from the Cross. In small figures Vincenzo was better than great; his portraits and fruits were estimated. Many of his cabinet pieces were painted on slate.
