Vinylon

Vinalon ( Korean: pinallon 비날론 ) is a synthetic fiber that is made ​​from polyvinyl alcohol. As raw materials are used anthracite and limestone.

Vinalon 1939 by Korean scientists Ri Sung -ki and Japanese scientists developed Ichiro Sakurada and H. Vinalon is used for clothing, but also for cables and as a filler. The fiber is resistant to heat and chemicals, but also stiff to color shiny and difficult. Outside of Korea Vinalon is not produced.
