Vionnaz is a municipality in the district of Monthey in the French speaking part of the canton of Valais in Switzerland.

Geography

Vionnaz is in the lower part of Wallis and extends from the level of the Rhone in the east over the alluvial fan of the Greffaz to the Alps along the border between the Haute- Savoie. The highest point is La Tour de Don at 1'998 m above sea level. M. The municipality comprises the villages Vionnaz in the valley and the mountain villages Mayen, Revereulaz and Torgon as well as the hamlets Crébellay, Beffeux and Bonne Année.

Traffic

Through the community's main road 21 leads from the French border after Savoie in Saint- Gingolph to Saint -Maurice and it is the starting point of the main road about 11 Château d'Oex to Zweisimmen. The Vionnaz station on the SBB line of Saint- Gingolph to Saint -Maurice is located directly east of the boundary of the municipality on the territory of the municipality Collombey. The bus route from Aigle via Vionnaz to Torgon ensures the fine distribution.
