Viracocha Inca

Huiracocha Inca ( Inca Viracocha also ) in Peruvian Quechua case Wiraqucha Inca, originally Hatun Tupac or Tupaq Hatun, was the eighth Inca of the Kingdom of Qusqu ( Cuzco ) ( around the year 1410).

Hatun Tupaq was with his campaigns into the Urubamba Valley and Lake Titicaca, where he conquered the territories of Kalka ( Calca ), K'ana ( Cana ) and Qanchi ( Canchi ), the real founder of the Inca empire ( Tawantinsuyu ). He extended his sphere of until after P'isaq ( Pisac ) in the Urubamba Valley. Since he attributed to his military victories the help of the Andean creator God Wiraqucha, he took the name Wiraqucha Incas.

As these 1438 under their leader Anku Walluq with supposedly 40,000 the capital Qusqu ( Cusco ) laid siege to Wiraqucha Inca moved with his intended heir apparent son Urco ( Urquhart ) and other stalwarts in the fortress Calca back. His other son Cusi Yupanqui ( Kusi Yupanki ) took advantage of the opportunity by hitting the Chanka crushing and then seized power himself. The new ruler was now called " world changer " Pachacutec Yupanqui ( Pachakutiq Yupanki ).
