Viran Morros de Argila (* December 15, 1983 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish handball player. He plays for Spanish club FC Barcelona left back, but is used mainly in defense.

Career

Morros began his professional career at FC Barcelona. He moved within the Spanish League in 2003 initially for SD Teucro, then Ademar León. From 2007 he ran for BM Ciudad Real, before he returned again in 2011 to his hometown club.

With the Spanish national team, he has played 133 matches in which he threw 129 goals. At the 2011 World Championships, he finished with the Spanish team to third in the European Handball Championship in 2012 when he was named the best defensive player in fourth place. In 2012 he took part in the Olympic Games, finishing in seventh place. At the World Cup in 2013 in his own country he won the title with Spain. The following year he won the bronze medal at the European Championships in 2014.
