Virchow's node

Under the Virchow lymph node refers to the thoracic lymph nodes, the last station of the ductus. It is located in the left supraclavicular fossa between the clavicle and scapula.

If this is palpable lymph nodes, which may suggest a metastasis of a tumor. Often, here are the gastric cancer or Hodgkin's disease.

The Virchow lymph nodes is named after the German pathologist Rudolf Virchow.
