Virchow (crater)

Virchow is an impact crater on the eastern limb of the Moon front page, in the northwest of Wall level of the great crater Napier. Virchow is only slightly eroded. The crater floor is flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1979 by the German physician and pathologist Rudolf Virchow.
