Virgilio Rosario

Virgilio Rosario ( * 1499 in Spoleto, † May 22, 1559 in Rome ) was a Cardinal of the Catholic Church.

Rosario was Bishop of Ischia and was appointed by Pope Paul IV to cardinal on 15 March 1557. He was from 1558 General in Rome and one of the cardinals who should decide the matter against Cardinal Giovanni Girolamo Morone.
