Viroflay
Viroflay is a commune with 15,723 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) southwest of Paris. It is 14.1 kilometers from Paris city center.
Geography
The city Viroflay closes east of Versailles. It is flanked by two forest areas in the north of the Forêt de - Fausses reposes, in the south of the Forêt de Meudon. Neighboring communities of Viroflay are Chaville in the east, Velizy-Villacoublay in the south, Versailles in the West and Ville d'Avray in the north.
Traffic
On Viroflay Station - Rive Gauche RER C holds Furthermore Viroflay has another station ( Viroflay - Rive Droite ), which is served by the local transport line Transilien Paris Saint- Lazare. Bus number 171 from the Pont de Sèvres (transfer option Métro line 9) to Versailles also passes through Viroflay. In 2009, the new tram line 6 should end in Viroflay.
