Visceral Bleeding

Visceral Bleeding is a Technical Death Metal / Brutal Death Metal band from Malmö, Sweden, which was founded in 1999.

History

The band was formed in 1999 by guitarist Peter Persson and drummer Niklas Dewerud. They drew inspiration from bands like Suffocation and Monstrosity here. Calle Löfgren joined as bassist for the band, Dennis Röndum was the singer of the band and Marcus Nilsson took the post one on lead guitar.

The first demo called Internal Decomposition was recorded in Moonshine Studio in the fall of 2000. The label Retribute Records became aware of the band, so the band eventually signed a contract with the label. The first album Remnants of deprivation was recorded in three weeks from November to December 2001 in Pama Studio in Kristiansand and Opel in Salt Iceland studio in Karlskrona and finally published in March 2002. Shortly after the release of the album left drummer Niklas Dewerud the band to be the bass player for the band Spawn of Possession. Tobias " Rotten Boy" Persson became the new drummer of the band.

The next album Transcend into Ferocity was in the flat Pig Studio in Malmö, Sweden, was added. The recordings lasted for three weeks from December 2003 to January 2004. Was released on Neurotic Records in May 2004. After the release of the album drummer Dennis Röndum left the band to even Spawn of Possession join. Neurotic Records released Remanants of deprivation new digipack with additional extras in 2005. It was called Remnants Revived.

Following the band went on tour in Europe, along with bands like Deicide, Obituary, Skinless and Cryptopsy. They also appeared together with bands like Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Suffocation and Nile.

The third album Absorbing the Disarray was published in May 2007. During the work on this album, the guitarist Marcus Nilsson and Martin Bermheden left the band. Following the publication of bassist Calle Löfgren left the band to get married and to take care of his daughter. Martin Eklöv replaced him.

Style

Visceral Bleeding is compared with bands like Cephalic Carnage, Skinless and Cryptopsy. Particularly characteristic of the works is their high speed. The vocals range from extremely low growls to high screams.
