Vital du Four

Vital du Four ( OFM) (* 1260 in Bazas, † 1327 in Avignon ) was a scholastic theology and Franciscan philosopher. Since 1312 he was a cardinal.

He studied 1285 - 1291 Theology in Paris, then taught in Montpellier, from 1296 in Toulouse. His most important works include the " Quodlibeta ", the " Quaestiones disputatae " and the treatise " De rerum principio ".
