• Spring: Louis IV moves to Italy and remains there until 1330.
• MAY 31: Louis IV is crowned King of Italy in Milan.
• ( Summer? ): The Minister General of the Franciscans, Michael of Cesena, and Bonagratia of Bergamo are cited to Avignon and held captive here in the basement of the papal inquisition castle.
