Vitulano
Vitulano is a municipality in Italy in the region of Campania in the province of Benevento with 2965 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). It is part of the mountain community Comunità Montana del Taburno.
Geography
The community is located about 18 km west of the provincial capital of Benevento. The neighboring municipalities are Campoli del Monte Taburno, Castelpoto, Cautano, Foglianise, Frasso Telesino, Guardia Sanframondi, Paupisi, San Lorenzo Maggiore, Solopaca and Torrecuso. Other districts are Ponterutto and Santo Stefano.
Economy
The community thrives on agriculture and tourism. It belongs to the wine region Aglianico del Taburno. Furthermore grown olives and chestnuts. Furthermore, it is degraded in the municipality marble.
