Vivah

Vivah (Hindi: विवाह, Urdu: وواہ, German: Hochzeit ) is a successful romantic drama from Bollywood.

Action

Poonam lost her parents when she was very small. Her uncle Krishna Kant and her aunt Rama have included it in their house. However, Rama is jealous of Poonam because she 's prettier than her own daughter Rajni. But Poonam and Rajni ( Chothi ) quoted from a young age very well.

One day visited Bhagat -ji, a jeweler and a good friend of Krishna Kant, the family. Immediately, he is charmed by Poonams way and decides a suitable husband for her to find. He has a young man in his sights. Prem, the son of industrialist Harichandra, who is also a friend of Bhagat -ji.

Send a picture of Poonam to Harichandra which is immediately impressed by Poonam. When he tells Prem Poonam, Prem is initially skeptical. But his brother tries to calm him down and told him about his own experience and his marriage to his current wife Bhavna. This Prem is calmed down and agrees to meet Poonam.

As Prem and his family from Delhi to Madhupur travels to Poonams family, the two get closer. Shy agree to the marriage, and the two are engaged. Since everything has worked so well, decides Poonams uncle together with Prem's family holiday in his vacation home Som Sarovar to make.

In Som Sarovar Prem and Poonam can, thanks to the arranged meeting of Bhavna, be alone and fall in love head over heels with each other. As Prem and the family have to leave the house early for business reasons, the two news using the Internet, telephone and mail. Only by the great distance they reveal their feelings for each other that they could not show out of shame.

Two days before the official wedding a fire breaks out in Krishna Kant's house. As Poonam Chothi want to escape from the burning house, she suffers serious burns, which adorn the whole body except her face.

After Prem has heard of Poonams accident, he visited her in the hospital immediately. Poonam is very unhappy and insecure because she does not know whether she still wants to marry Prem. For Prem but it is of course to take Poonam as a bride to take home. And as a sign he carries her sindoor on the parting.

The doctor informed the family that there is still hope. Poonam can be operated on, but the procedure can be very risky and injuries take a long time until they heal completely. The procedure is, however, successfully survived and Prem Poonam maintains some time in the hospital until he takes home for the wedding.

  • As a German dubbed version of the film was titled Vivah - My heart remains loyal to you on 3 April 2009 on DVD.
