Vladimir Sergeyevich Bystrov (Russian: Владимир Сергеевич Быстров; born January 31, 1984 in Luga ) is a Russian football player in the service of Zenit St Petersburg.

Bystrov signed in 2001 his first professional contract with Zenit St Petersburg, where he played until 2005. He graduated at this time 74 league matches and scored six goals. In 2005 he then moved to Spartak Moscow. Bystrov is an arrow- fast winger, especially because of its speed, it is the most gefoulteste players of the Russian League. On 29 August 2009, his return for 15 million euros was announced at the zenith. Bystrov signed with Zenit a contract until 2014.

National

Since 2004 Bystrov played for the Russian national football team. In 2008 he was appointed to the Russian team for the European Championship 2008 by Guus Hiddink. In the group match against Spain he was substituted at half-time for Dmitri Sychev, and replaced again for Roman Adamov, curiously, in the 70th minute. Guus Hiddink said he was not satisfied with Bystrows performance.
