Vladimír Janočko

Vladimír Janočko ( born December 2, 1976 in Košice ) is a Slovak football player.

Career

Janočko started his professional career in the youth team from 1 FC Kosice. 1994 Janočko was admitted to the professional section of the club. He played until early 2000 at the club. In January 2000 he moved to Greece to Skoda Xanthi.

After one season in Greece he went to FK Austria Wien. After a very successful first years in Austria, where he was even Austrian Footballer of the Year in 2002, his achievements were weaker and Janocko fell at different trainers in disgrace. A trigger for his poor performances were also many injuries, including a torn ACL in the spring of 2005, which put him out of action until November 2005. On 9 May 2006, after the 3-0 Cup victory of Austria against Mattersburg, Janočko announced that he would leave Austria.

On June 13, 2006 Red Bull Salzburg announced his commitment known since the 2006/07 season Janočko worked for Mozart townspeople. He was brought to initially fill the role of playmaker, but he could not free himself and was therefore usually found on the bench, but he was able to celebrate as a substitute in 2007 the Austrian Championship title. 2009, this feat he achieved also. Overall, he played in the 2008/09 season 16 times and scoring five goals. After the season Janocko signed first LASK Linz, before he still opted for short disputes for the Admiralty. After failing to convince after the first season at the Admiralty and President Richard Trenkwalder had announced a tough austerity for the new season, his current contract until 2011 was dissolved in early July.

In January 2011 Janočko joined the Amateur class for SC Leopold Village / Vienna. In January 2013 he moved to his native Slovakia to MFK Zemplin Michalovce.

Vladimír Janočko played a total of 56 times for the Slovak national football team, scoring three goals.
