Vlastimir

Vlastimir was the son of Prosigoj, and ruled as a wholesale Župan in Raszien under Byzantine suzerainty of about 825 to 860

He was the founder of the dynasty that was to be called later than the Vlastimirić. Vlastimir ruled over present-day Western Serbia, Montenegro and north eastern Bosnia, whose independence from Byzantium, he reached 830.

In the war against the Bulgarian Khan Presian I. ( 836-852 ) Vlastimir was victorious. He had three sons, Mutimir, Stroïnik and Goïnik, and a daughter.

His daughter married Krajina, son of Župan Beloje of Travunien (now Ostherzegowina ). Beloje and recognized him Krajina sovereignty of Vlastimir, he rose to the rank of these in turn Knezen ( princes ). Vlastimir was succeeded by his three sons, who all got a partial rule, the oldest, Mutimir, later as a wholesale Župan took over the reign supreme. His brothers fled to Bulgaria.
