Vodafone-Funkturm Stuttgart-Vaihingen

The unusual, tripod -like structure made of concrete pipes was established in December 1998 in just four days. The tower has eight antenna sites that are located at a height of 58 meters, 62.5 meters, 67.5 meters, 70 meters, 75 meters, 77.5 meters, 80 meters and 82.5 meters.

The radio tower is the radio connection from mobile phone base stations to the switching center (MSC ), which is located in a factory building under the tower.

An identical tower is located on the premises of Vodafone in Mannheim- Neckarau.
