The mountain Vodno in Skopje

The Vodno ( Macedonian Водно ) is the local mountain of the Macedonian capital Skopje.

The Vodno located in the southwest of Skopje. The highest peak point Krastovar 1066 m high. Here is the Millennium Cross, a 77 -meter-high steel structure, which can already be seen from a distance of 100 km and at night down lights of the city. The summit can be reached by two roads and several hiking trails.

Halfway up, the so-called Sredno Vodno ( Macedonian Средно Водно ) there are two large parking and several restaurants. This point is located on 570 m height, while the starting point of the trail on the outskirts of Skopje is located on 337 m.
