The Vogt Bach is a left side tributary of the creek Göttel which itself drains into the Schiltach. It is located in the middle of the Black Forest and flows exclusively through the territory of the district Schramberg. It rises in the district Sulgen on the corridor district Hoernle ( save current development area Eckenhof / section Hornle ) and then flows through the Catholic holiday village Eckenhof ( former Junghans Villa Park ) on the riser Häusle past in the valley town Schramberg where the Vogt creek empties into the Göttel Bach. On its around 5.0 km long course of Vogt Bach lays back a drop of about 420 meters. The largest slope ( relief energy ), the Vogt Bach at Staighäusle where the waters nearly 350 heights travels to almost 1500 m linear meters.
