Vogue (dance)

Vogue or Voguing denotes a style of dance that originated in the early 1960s in the Ballroom Scene of gay subculture of New York Harlem. The dance style developed by its typical strictly linear and rectangular arm and leg movements on the basis of poses and postures of models. The name comes from the same according to fashion magazine Vogue.

The dance was popularized by the 1989 single release, Deep in Vogue by Malcolm McLaren, the song Vogue by Madonna 's 1990 or the documentary " Paris is Burning " by Jenny Linvingston also at the international majority audience.
