Voguéo

Voguéo is the name of a knowledgeable in June 2008 transport agent that runs on the Seine and the Marne between Paris and the south-eastern suburb of Maisons- Alfort.

After a trial period, which ended on June 5, 2011, which traffic is to be resumed in 2013. By June 2011, the four boats frequented only between Gare d'Austerlitz station and the École Vétérinaire de Maisons -Alfort; planned is an extension of the line to the west.

The travel time for the test track, past the National Library, was about 35 minutes. In contrast to the existing tourist steamship lines on the Seine, the new Voguéo service targeted to everyday drivers and commuters; the tariff is integrated into the usual areas of the transport system of the Ile de France.

Since the mid-19th century to 1934, there had already been a regular service on the river Seine, at that time, however, through the whole of Paris to the western suburb of Suresnes.
