Style and content

The music direction is not clearly defined, as the range of music from rock and Industrial Martial Industrial, Neofolk and Neoclassic to last. The individual albums here are very different. For example, the album Sacrificare was much calmer and more guitar-oriented than its predecessor held Bellum, Sacrum Bellum! ?.

What is noticeable in the concept of the group also states that the album releases were provided exclusively with Latin titles. The text design is not kept clean in German language, there are also parts of the text in English, Latin and Italian. Klumb and Raymond Plummer are both strongly influenced by traditional Catholicism and loud Klumb Catholics who also deal with paganism; according to him, was the old Christianity full of influences from the time of paganism, which many modern Christians is not clear, however.

Right-wing accusations

Leads to controversy that the Group is committed openly nationalistic ideology, Nazi aesthetics and martial song titles such as native soil, topsoil, homeland, or the new kingdom used. Likewise, the bundle of rods ( fasces ) are used, which have been known as the symbol of Italian fascism. Fasci badges were sold on the side of the band as " [ d] ezenter smaller disposition notice", as well as Canzoniere fascista. The group also used voice samples, for example, the right-wing conservative pastor Hans milk or the right-wing extremists Horst Mahler as a stylistic device, and released songs on tribute albums to Corneliu Zelea Codreanu, Leni Riefenstahl and Julius Evola, on which also clearly right-wing artists were represented, as well as the compilation Prezent! - Compilatie de muzica nationalistă the Romanian extreme right-wing organization Noua dreapta Claudiu Mihuţiu.

Although the group is therefore concealed aware of many relevant press organs of the black scene, she has achieved a high popularity especially in Eastern Europe ( especially in Russia ) and Italy. In Germany is successful From Thronstahl, but polarized due to the charges against them right-wing accusations. The performance at the Wave -Gotik-Treffen 2000 was banned by the city of Leipzig for Klumbs participation. Nevertheless, the Group entered without their frontman stage and remained there motionless protest with spade and Sonnenradflagge while the music played by the band.

In a Spiegel article of 16 February 2009, which deals with the combination of Catholicism and right, is counted from Thronstahl by both authors to one of the musical pioneers of this movement. They point to continue the worship, the Hans milk befalls pages Klumbs who does more than converted to Catholicism after a personal interview with the suspended pastor of Limburg an der Lahn. Hans milk was not a member of the Fraternity of St. Pius X, but it was very close and stood up for their interests in Germany. Klumb now try the " deceased " reverend friend " to make immortal."

" " About the Catholic out, " it says on the Von- Thronstahl site under" Ecclesia Militans, " the priest enjoy great popularity in " our defensive conservative as avant-garde subculture ' "

On the band's own website are also essays in which clearly right-wing positions are based, published. So Klumb writes in his essay " electoral " about his desire to build a national dictatorship in Germany. In his texts, Klumb expresses similar open. On the album Germanium metallicum songs themselves are as public enemy / friend home, National Anarchy in the EU or Respect the Hierarchy. A positive response received album of the " Junge Freiheit ": never fully led [ Klumb ] such a massive sweeping attack on both the personal enemies and the enemies of Europe - hence the enemies of freedom around the world.
