Vorwärts Kamenz

The ASG Vorwärts Kamenz was a sports club of the Army Sports Club forward in Kamenz, which existed from 1960 to 1990. She made primarily in football a name, but also ran sports such as athletics, swimming and chess. Home of the ASG, the stadium was the youth.

Football

The football section of the ASG Vorwärts Kamenz emerged after the relegation to the third division in 1974 made ​​the first football team and move the ASG Vorwärts Cottbus to Kamenz. The first football team of the Army Sports Club forward under existing Community was filed in the District League Dresden. 1976 won the team football trophy in the district of Dresden, this success could be repeated in 1978 and 1979.
