Voyage. Studies on Travel & Tourism

Voyage. Yearbook of Travel & Tourism Research (English Voyage. Studies on Travel & Tourism ) is an interdisciplinary periodical which is devoted to the topic of travel, particularly tourism.

It was founded in 1997 by journalists, tourism and cultural scientists in collaboration with the DuMont Verlag and is aimed at professionals and interested laymen alike.

Founding editor: Tobias Gohlis, Christoph Hennig, Jürgen Kagelmann, Dieter Kramer, Hasso Spode; was come Dieter Richter. The Advisory Board also noted experts are represented from abroad, but the readership is limited more to the German-speaking countries. After the sale of DuMont Verlag 2004 Voyage first appeared in the profile -Verlag, since 2011 the metropolitan publisher led by Hasso Spode.

Each volume has a different focus topic, for example, " Why go? ", " Travel & Food " or " Tourist History "; the latest band (2011) is devoted to the "hotel". The contributions will be published in German with English summary.
