Vuze
Vuze (pronounced eng views; until 2008. Azureus ) is a free file sharing program for the BitTorrent protocol.
The application was published in June 2003 under the name Azureus on SourceForge. With version 3.1.0.0 on 16 June 2008, it was renamed Vuze. Vuze is written in Java and therefore supports Windows, Linux, Unix, Mac OS X and basically any platform, is available for Java. However, the SWT library was used, which limits the ability to run on those operating systems, is available for SWT -: (graphical user interface GUI german) for the representation of the graphical user interface. Vuze is one of the largest BitTorrent clients, but also claimed comparatively many resources.
Functions
While a Torrent (. " Torrent" desired (target) file, not to be confused with the - (tax) file) is downloaded, including the following can be observed:

By integrating Vuze a break between the last version was built without Vuze ( 2.5.0.4 ) and later versions, with Vuze (3.0 ). Many users prefer the old version and have therefore never made an update to a version with Vuze. Criticism
The developers came in for criticism, as it turned out, that the data that is collected about users of the software, were more detailed than it was reported to the end user. These functions, however, were removed with the version 2.5.0.4, although the developers had decided to publish on the version 2.5.0.2 no more versions under the name of Azureus.
