Wacker Bernburg

FC Wacker Bernburg was a German football club from Bernburg (Saale ) in today's Salzlandkreis that existed from 1910 to 1945.

Association

Wacker Bernburg was in 1910 under the name FC Wacker Bernburg, later also founded SV Wacker Bernburg. FC Wacker occurred within the Association of German agents Ballgame clubs in the championship of the district Anhalt. Greatest successes of the club 's history were the two-time reaching the finals for the Central German Championship, in which Wacker Bernburg retired prematurely each.

In the season 1929/30, Bernburg succumbed after a opening victory over Viktoria Stendal in the second round of the SV storm Chemnitz with 1:3. The following season Wacker Bernburg reached over VfB Germania Halberstadt again the next round, it lost to FC Wacker hall with 1:5. Higher class acted Wacker Bernburg after not more, in 1944 the club was once again integrated briefly in the Gauliga center, which was canceled prematurely.

1945 Wacker Bernburg was disbanded, a new foundation was not consummated.
