Wacław Rzewuski

Waclaw Rzewuski ( born October 29, 1705 Rozdol, † November 27, 1779 in Siedliszcze ) was a Polish military leader and statesman.

Waclaw Rzewuski was the son of Stanislaw Mateusz Rzewuski, a hetman of the Polish crown of the crown, and Ludwika Kunick. He was 14 years voivode of Podolia, secretary of the Polish Crown, Great Hetman of the Polish Crown and Starosta of Chelm, Ulanov, Romanov, Dolina and Drohob. Together with Jan Klemens Branicki and other magnates, he was a member of the Confederation of Radom. He also wrote numerous comedies and led them up to the magnate stages. He was awarded the Order of the White Eagle.

Waclaw Rzewuski was married to the Princess Anne Lubomirska and had with her five children: Teresa Karolina Rzewuska, Marie Louise Rzewuska, Stanislaw Ferdynand Rzewuski, Józef Rzewuski and Seweryn Rzewuski.
