Wagenfelder Aue

The Wagenfelder Aue is a right-side tributary of the River Hunte. It flows only in the southern part of the county Diepholz ( Lower Saxony) and dehydrated extensive moorland of Diepholzer Moorniederung.

Course

The 20 km long Wagenfelder Aue runs between the municipality and the Wagenfeld Samtgemeinde Barnstorf.

It rises south of the center of Wagenfeld, flows through Wagenfeld, then as a border between the integrated municipality Rehden and Samtgemeinde Barnstorf and passes through the gloom and Eydelstedter wood.

Southeast of the center of Barnstorf, northeast of Rechtern, opens the Wagenfelder Aue in the Hunte, which then flows in a northerly direction.
